In Transit had unusual beginnings. It was formed in response to approaches from clients. This has created a company which prides itself on customer service but operates without the interference of distant directors or the greed for 'margin' demanded by some national agencies.

In Transit believes that an agency is only as successful as the quality of the drivers it provides and the genuine checking of work history. We know that the ability of our drivers is our reputation.

• We agree all rates at the initial meeting and submit a written copy for confirmation within 48 hours
  
  
• We check our drivers' licences every 3 months to avoid the non-detection of traffic offences
  
  
• We make two reference checks with previous employers before placement of a driver

We supply HGV and ADR Class 1 drivers, plus Class 2 and HIAB drivers for local builders merchants/timber yards etc. Or if you're looking for another type of driver, please call us anyway and we'll see what we can do.

In Transit employs a total honesty policy - if we do not have a driver available the client will be told so, or given a return call within 15 minutes with a progress report
